インドネシアの家庭料理 - Jakarta

ジャカルタといってもいつもカフェやビュッフェばかり試していたが、今回はインドネシア人の友人宅に食事に招かれた。車の渋滞させなければ３０分で着く場所に２時間かけて到着。
I must admit that I've been sampling cafe/buffet food Jakarta, however I had a chance to try authentic Indonesian cuisine. I was invited to an Indonesian friend's house for dinner. The distance from the hotel is 30min drive but it took me 2 hours to get to the destination in the famous Jakarta traffic.

ハウスキーパー達と一緒にホストが作ってくれたインドネシア家庭料理。オーストラリアのものに比べてサイズの小さいチキン、インドネシア風海老フライと魚フライ、野菜炒め、ナシ・ゴレンとボリュームたっぷり。
The host prepared the authentic Indonesian family meal with help of her housekeepers. Indonesian chicken is much smaller than ones in Australia. Indonesian style prawn flitters, fish, fried vegetables and Nasi goreng.

デザートは庭になっているパパイヤ。甘くておいしかった。Dessert's papaya came from her garden. It was extremely fresh and sweet.

インドネシア家庭料理もやっとクリアしたことだし、もう帰ろう。Now that I tried authentic Indonesian family dinner, it is time to go home.
