圧力鍋のメルセデス・ベンツ － Fissler

ドイツから我が家に新しいメンバーがやってきた。CityのMyerに個別ディスプレイ・エリアがあるFisslerの圧力鍋（ドイツ製）。清水の舞台を飛び降りる気分とはこのことか。予算を確実にオーバーしたが、「毎日使うものは良いものを」という信念に従い購入。

New addition to the family is from Germany - Fissler's pressure cooker. It was way over budget but I bit the bullet to purchase one at a designated Fissler display section at City Myer store. It is my mother's principle (although I sometime find it hard to practice) to choose the best for something I use everyday.

さすがメルセデンス・ベンツの国。 性能が抜群に良い。週末に１日かけて煮込で作っていたカレーやslow cooked lamb, beef bourguignon（牛肉の赤ワイン煮込み）が２０－３０分でできる。購入した日は嬉しすぎて１０日分ぐらいあるシチューやスープを作ってしまった。

I can tell the cooker comes from a country that makes Mercedez Bentz. It is a magic. I used to spend whole day to make curry, slow cooked lamb and beef bourguignon but my Fissler fixes these dishes in 20-30min. I couldn't stop myself from cooking 10days worth of stew/soup on the first day of Fissler's arrival.

「もし無人島に１つだけ持っていけるとしたら」という質問を受けたら、今は「Fisslerの圧力鍋」と答えてしまいそう。
I would take my Fissler if I can take only one item to a deserted island.
