川南のマーケット - The Farmer's Market on Mannning

最近人気のFarmer's Marketはほとんどがスワン川北西部か地方で開催されているので、Manning Road沿いにあるマーケットは川南の住人には貴重な存在。

朝８時のスタート直前に到着したところ、駐車場担当者がすでにしっかりと交通整理を行っており、マーケットは営業準備万端だった。店舗数はSubiaco Farmer's Marketと同じぐらいだが、クレープ店とWoodfire Pizzaはなかった。コーヒー店舗は２つある。

パンもTammy'sやIl Padorino、Abdhiなどが出店。オーガニック・クロワッサンもある。

マーケットで必要なものは全部揃い、十分楽しめるが、近くにスーパーやデリ、カフェが揃っているSubiacoの方が使い勝手が良い気がする。

Residents in the South of the river are a bit disadvantaged as most of Farmer's markets are held in the Western Suburb or in the country area. The Farmer's market on Manning is probably the best option for those who live in the South.

The market was already up and running when I arrived there just before 8am. The market offers similar variety of stalls/items to the Subiaco but lacks in crepe/woodfire pizza options. At least the market has 2 coffee stalls as there is no other cafes nearby unlike Subiaco.

Tammys, Il Padorino and Abdi have their stalls and organic croissant and other sweets are also available.

You can get most of the thing you would expect from a Farmer's market but my vote goes to the Subiaco, given its proximity to supermarkets, deli and cafe.
